Iron Tide Command
Iron Tide Command asks you to build and steer fleets across a grid of contested seas. It leans slow and thoughtful — you plan routes, guess where enemies will strike, and commit before you can see everything. The fog of war is used well, so bluffing becomes a real tactic against the AI.
I liked that resource management stays readable. You're never buried in numbers; a few clear supply lines and unit types cover most decisions. Battles resolve with satisfying little animations that don't drag on. The difficulty curve is fair, ramping up as you learn rather than throwing walls at you.
Multiplayer skirmishes are the highlight if you have a friend who'll commit to a turn a day. Solo, the campaign holds up for a good dozen hours before the tactics start to feel familiar.
